Project Drakonis
Creating a language is no simple task -- and teaching one is even harder. I don't claim to be a linguistic expert, but this has been a passionate side project born from a desire to expand the lore of this cosmos in a creative, meaningful way. The Drakonis language is presented in five parts: structure, roots, vocabulary, syllabary, and, because I couldn't resist making things interesting, a base-9 numerical system. For grammar and syntax, I've kept things simple by mirroring English rules. Words are built from roots, with prefixes and suffixes added to maintain variety, logic, and a structure that still feels natural.
